Rats and chickens??

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I've a rat infestation out in the chicken run, which will be dealt with but its after putting me off eating any eggs which I've been giving to the dogs every day, are they ok for me to eat, I'm probably being a bit paranoid but could do with a bit of reasurance.

Yes... Eggs are porous thats why you should never eat eggs that have been laying in mud/water

Washing removes the protective coating on the shell. although i wash eggs that are soiled... And wash my hands after handling eggs for any reason
