I think the should stick to being a bit of a all rounder, rat, rabbits, Fox, bushing dog if the good at it, the had the speed, and whippet type chest, I think the coats could be caught up. As for digging dogs, that era came around in the rambo, stud era again and men

The man I am gettimg my pup from had very good Bedlingtons there not kc bred but pure and also has sum with a Lil bit of fell in them but he digs to his and are sum of the hardest dogs Ave seen they have no reverse gear at all. But am also tryimg to find out the same thing is there any others surely there is!! I dont agree with all the bullshit and my dig this ur dog that untill I Ave seen sumit do its job I cant comment ot take it as solid truth

Hi, I don't know anything about the bedlingtons and would like to know how are they bred? How big and tall do they get? Do they have hard mouth and and locate? Would like to know more about the bred..never seen one before..and when I was reading this post and saw a couple of them, it looks like a pat that I have may have some in it.. thanks for any info..

mine are all bedlington x fell and are digging dogs they get used for a bit of ratting etc but there bred for digging some are hard some not so hard some are mute but most will bay and mix they do the job for me and thats all that matters if they don t its a long walk up a short field , all mine go between 13--15 in tts and for the record all the patterdale s out there owe a lot to the bedlington of old as they all carry bedlington blood
