went out today to test my 204 Remington on pumpkins at 214 yards so far I'm very happy with it .

great gun took me while 2 get used 2 it as my last was a parker hale .243. the 204 very flat shooting.what bullets u using..... i found it likes remington better than hornady....hornady were not holding foxes rippin them open running off for 50yds then dropping not good in cover.

I'm using home loads 32gr blitzking and 26.5gr of vihtavuori 530 and the foxes don't seem to like them like soup inside of the fox and it groups well cheers mate

i use remmington premier accutip 32 grain............very accurate .........used with a remmington 700 heavy fluted barrel stops them foxes on the spot

Mines a Howa 1500 sporter. The rifle was good with 32gr Hornady factory, but wouldn't stabilise the 40gr Hornady factory.

I now handload 39gr Sierra Blitzkings on top of Benchmark powder.

Sub half inch groups at 100yds.

Superb calibre.

Only drawback is its non legality on deer in Eng and Wales
