Jettyboy 174 Posted November 3, 2012 Report Share Posted November 3, 2012 We've had a couple more nights out on the lamp this week - took one of my mates young lads cos he'd never been. The moon was up but we just wanted a bit of sport for the dogs so the lad could see what it was all about - he really enjoyed it, the dogs had some really good courses and because it was light the rabbits gave them a run for their money. Had another night out - this time with Tara and Cassie and tried a couple of fields that we hadn't done. Ended up with Taras first black rabbit which took her through a gate and she caught it out of the beam. Took my little lass out this morning for her first ferreting trip - it started out foggy but soon cleared and we were only out a couple of hours. The cover hasn't died back yet as much as would have liked so the whippets came in handy. Cheers 4 Quote Link to post
