Lee C 55 Posted October 24, 2012 Report Share Posted October 24, 2012 Layer I find are best, if walking you get hot so can take a layer off if standing over ferrets for a long time you can keep the layers on. I don't spend much on wellies any more due to knackering two expensive pairs in as many weeks one set on hidden barbwire and one on hawthorn bushes! Warm hat not fur lined as the bird will be no you like a flash!! Mini snacks are good just incase the day is longer than you think. Also if ferreting now I tend to say no to the just one last hole before leaving as the ferrets seem to always kill down on that last hole! Sods law !! So I make the decision and stick with it. Alec Very good point there. I phoned the help line before purchase and they checked with the lab and called me back. I believe two eagle were poisoned in this way last year one of them died !!!
