fox gloves

Hey folks,

 

Can i get some advice off you please, could you please tell me the best or what you would recomend gloves for handling live foxes in traps/snairs, i know its a little strange but a lad who works with me is trying to trap a fox with mange to take it to the vet, i know i thought the same but am trying to help the lad lol

heard of people using chainmail gloves, think youre best bet would be to throw a blanket over it and stop being a pussy and use your hands, it shouldnt bite you once it has the blanket over it, after youve done that stick it in a cage and jobs a good en, till your vet has to get it out and handle it lol

That's great jezzer i never thought of chain mail not for me at all mate i would shoot it the trap but he asked me as i shoot, i said welding gloves as a guess but ur idea is much better i would think as for the vet ...... Lmfao

just make a catch pole out of some piping and cord, feck pissing about with a manged up fox, 22rf behind the ear is as good a cure as any

why dont you just take it in the trap then you dont have to handle it.and if you get it in a snare it prob be dead.

i take it you dont do much snaring if you think the fox will be dead

nod dont mek me laugh ive snared for the past 20yrs and most of them are dead.you do get the odd 1s that are alive.but if they jump a fence once caught they are dead.you must be seting your loop to big and catching round there gut then pulling tight towards the back legs.!!

I think i would take the trap and all to the R.S.P.C.A. and let them remove it and treat it at there cost then power wash the trap
