im sure the wheatens hold their own with the bull crosses and have been around before them too but one of the best and gamest dogs was lurcher to lurcher breeding both collie grey crosses, dog was great foxer and was always in the right place at the right time. RIP rebel

So what would u say would be a better foxer then a first x bull grey let's just say 22tts 45 lb -50lb or a first x bull whippet 20-21 tts 35-40 lb I have my opinion just like to hear other people's think the bull whippet would beat the bull grey to the first one but then the bull grey would still be doing the job on the 3rd one jmo atb rj

ive seen a few of these powell bull whippets i can honestly say i dont see the point in them

but jb there where dogs before them, the first bullxs werent bred til 82 and there was plenty of people doing good numbers before them

If I had to choose between bull/grey or bull/whippet it would be the grey x .

Having said that I've seen a 21" bull x grey do foxes without much effort but would want bigger if foxes were my job

wel i sapose its diffrent people like diffrent things alot of peolple like these pocket rockets and tey say they can catch them with ease but i sapose it all depends how they finish the job at the end of it

exactly never had the power to do the job right took to much stick and in the end the quarry deserves to die quickly.. and the ones i seen wer no rockets not every fox coame into 20 yds you couldnt afford big slips with them..much prefer the greyhound for height pace and power..

my friend had a bull whippet that would have killed foxes no problem it was 21tts head just like a bulls but longer legs and a leaner body it would kill a fox in a second i will get a pic of it

doesnt look much like a whippet but it was a bull whippet its head looks bigger than what it actually was as its panting it would run all day and jumped anything

Been on a dig with a "pocket rocket" and I was impressed. Never seen one on the lamp. The whippers used in these crosses aren't shivery little things. The cross we had out with us was bigger than my wheaten/grey
