right lads pre ban if you just did out and out foxing on the lamp shorley these little pocket rockets were the dogs 2 have only my mate said he wouldnt swop his 3/4 or his 58/38 4 nothink elese but if these little dogs can do the job they say they they can do they are the the best option

depends how seriously you took your foxing and how many you put in front of the dogs, how often they had foxes and many more variables

true mate but what im saying is if all you did was foxing shorley these dogs would catch them a lot better than any other dog

Its not just about catching foxes or any other quarry, its almost more important that a dog can get the job done quickly and humanely which is where a bigger dog will win every time IMHO

A lot of people go on about what crosses for what quarry, it really does depend on the terrain you hunt, if you were chasing them on big open areas you would want a big leggy dog not a small whippety thing...

Do you seriously think a pocket rocket would kill 4 adult foxes on the monday then be ready to do the same the night after?? dogs for jobs pal and the pocket rocket aint a serious fox dog..sugar coat it all you want but they simply are not. Imo its a case of a breed being bummed up to the max just to sell for pound notes. jmo..atb stabba

seen one run before. and was probily one of the worst iv'e seen on fox. i think useless comes to ma mind.

Pre ban me and a friend used to run two little pocket rockets, they did not miss many foxes! if they got behind a fox not many survived, we had a good time

with them but looking back, they took alot of stick, it took awhile to kill, layed up alot more and needed more of a rest... most probably catch more with them

two than one good fox dog but as we started seeing better dogs there was nothing better than i liked to see than one dog behind a fox, miss quiet a few more but

you see better runs, better catches, and most of all testing A dog..
