Craig Fosse 286
Hi guys, I have shot a few woodies in my time but on an old permission I have now lost, my old permission was great as there was literally a 10 by 10 meter square patch of coniferous trees which all the woody's came into and it was easy pickings, however now my gun club I am with is located on an empty airfield, both north and south go into sort of woodland which gets quite thick with large oak trees etc etc, the thing is the place is so big there seems to be pigeon everywhere however the pigeon seems to be one place sometime then the next a different place and I really don't kow where to start, I have looked at the flight lines and they seem to be all over the place, what I'm aiming to do is try some decoying, I only have 6 half cut pigeons and was wondering if this is still enough and where the hell do I blinking start with them haha!,, I do see them out on the open airfield from time to time but that is normally taken up by crows,...was wanting some advice really and if you could speak English....I'm not the most technical so if you could help that would be great...also was thinking of doing the same to crows...do I use the same decoy patterns and what is the best pattern..? Etc etc for both Cheers Craig Quote Link to post
