We im absoultley gutted went out on a call out with the big dog, bull deerhound grey remus, night started very well, dog was doing very well considering havent lamped him over the last few months due to summer.

After a while out i gave him his last slip which was a fair way away and off he went like a bat out of hell as he usually does and on his return i noticed him carrying no weight at all on his front leg, on inspection he was in a bad way and sliced open right round his ankle part with his tendons etc hanging out, the blood loss was horrendous and a vet was called out immediatley, 1 hr later the big lad was put to sleep, it has been a great loss to my kennels he was a special dog to me, and proved him self over and over again, never gave in when the shit hit the fan, R.I.P Remus
