I was told by a friend that on the side of my air rifle it says 20 pf and this relates to its power is this true?

I read once this is the factory rating for the guns in countries with no power limits.

This is not the case here in the uk where Weihrauch cut the springs down before exporting them here.

I bought a new 97k 2 years ago and was a bit dismayed to find one end of the spring cut off and not finished off in a proffessional way.

It looked like someone had snipped it down in length with a set of bolt cutters and had left the ragged sharp end of the spring unfinished.

When i cocked the rifle i could hear the end of the spring grind against the inner face of the piston.

A quick heat with a blow torch and a file down sorted it nicely.

As i said i read this somewhere and it might be wrong.

Just looked at mine and it also says pf 20 and does 11.7 ft lb

Mine is an fac model but guess I'll have to get it croned I'll let you guys know when I eventually get round to it

Mine isnt supposed to be but it will probly go over the limit after its fully bedded on :/ blag because i donthave a licence so going to need it sorting.. and not having a gun for a while

I've also read that PF20 stands for the post office box number for Weihrauch?
