the price of timber

Im doing a shed / log store / ferret court , the length is just over 6 metres by 2.5 metres ,going to be usin Shiplap , thinking off using cedar shingles for the roof either that or fibreglass , im dreading seein what i will be payin out , cause as you say the price off ALL MATERIALS are expensive !

everything is through the roof mate , i had to get screws and paint for the van aswell as wood its cost me well over £100 . makes you laugh when you think about it , no ones really got any money but everything is expensive :hmm:

feck me mick your in the reclaim game aswell you should know better than buy timber ---- my mates just done an aviary the shed cost him less than the 3x2 for the flight ..

its funny you should say that stig , i went to a scaffold yard to see if i could get some scaffy boards to do the job but they had gone bust , so called in a wood yard on the way back and just thought f**k it , i got some good re claimed roof timbers when i built the stable for my horse , but even they werent as cheap as i would like !! or maybe im just a tight twat !! :laugh:

I do alot of close boarding for a living its though the roof and can only get worst .

I done a hazel hurdle fence last month the hurdles was over 6 grand alone :icon_eek: .

When I started postcrete was £2 a bag now is £4 plus VAT :icon_eek:

The clients think your racking iot in yet most of its materials.

you know i will , i have re cycled some old engine oil to preserve the wood
