fellhound 3 Posted March 2, 2012 Report Share Posted March 2, 2012 The famous Lowther Hound Show is making a comeback on the first day of the 2012 Game & Country Fair on Sat 11th August. For this year there will be an Open Hound Show for Registered Fell & Hill Hounds (packs registered with the Central Committee of Fell packs or the MFHA) Other Hound categories will be added in future years. Judges will be Mr John Pugsley, CVO Chairman of the Dulverton West Foxhounds and Johnnie O'Shea, former huntsman of the Cheshire Foxhounds. In the evening of that Saturday, Lowther will play host to the Countryside Alliance Black Tie Ball, in a marquee withing the castle ruins.
