just leave her in the nest with the kits, keep feeding her & make sure theres water for her to drink. Dont be tempted to look or handle the kits for a good few weeks. My gill was very protective of her kits until they were about 5 weeks old she would bite anyone going in her cage.....the kits should start eating solids about 5/6 weeks old, thats when you can start to rehome them . try to handle them as much as possible from about 4 weeks so they get use to benn handled.

They always drag the dead ones out, do not be tempted to go near to the kits or ferrets for at least 3 weeks because she will feel threatened and may kill the kits, especialy in your case as the jill is not used to you.
