moonlighter 1,160
I lamp my coursing bred dogs, as I love lamping...and I'm not a match man. But if your into your matches beware of the risks involved. I've lost count of the times I've missed a Saturday's coursing because I've injured my dog lamping. If you lamp regular you will pick up injuries no question about it. Me personally have lost 2 to fatal collisions and numerous knocked feet and necks/shoulders. Not to mention the odd bite through the foot (pre ban), all on the lamp. Quote Link to post
moonlighter 1,160
Just to add though, injurys aside, lamping I feel gives the dog plenty of fur in his mouth....which can only benefit the dog IMO. Quote Link to post
