Qualifictions

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I am trying to get permissions for shooting, not really make any money just the love. So i wonder could any one tell me some qualifications or paper work i could do which might be good to have to show to farmers, livery owners ect... I am not the usual give me a gun lets go type i want to do this right; with safety as MY main concern for the land owner and my self. I have the usual insurances one from BASC and another from a recommended company through a friend.

All help will be appreciated :-), i am using Air guns for the pest control and shot guns for the pigeons.

Thank you for reading please comment below!.

LANTRA awards carry out Fox Control courses which are aimed towards full bore centre fire rifle shooting. The courses are held over a few days which include biology, choice of firearm, night shooting, range work, basic ballistics etc.

The courses are usually held at Agricultural Colleges or at private ranges upand down the country.

Killgerm / SX Environmental only do Air Rifle training (12ft/lb max) rather than rimfire or centre fire.

You could always contact BASC and do your DSC1 or 2 :D

don't think these courses are good idea myself,, there always be someone who profit on them.the dsc is a classic example ..certificates from this and that don't prove nothing either.if you ain't any idea about most country related sports then don't assume training will give you all the info you need,it want and as i said it is often dished out by people with little knowledge themselves;
