Millet 4,497 Posted December 30, 2011 Report Share Posted December 30, 2011 (edited) Wire the 2 batteries together Live to live and negative to negative..then on one of the batteries bring two separate wire's of to go to the lamp...if you wire 2 x 12v 7amp batteries this way you will end up with a 12v 14amp pack..i will try to do a diagram for you and edit this post later. not the best of diagram's but you should get the idea. Mooching Celt 658 Posted December 30, 2011 Report Share Posted December 30, 2011 Red to red and black to black wiring a 12v 7Ah and a 12v 5Ah together makes 12v 12Ah i.e. wired in a parallel circuit I have a pair of 6v 5Ah batteries wired up with one black to the other battery's red terminal and the remaining red and black terminals to the lamp making a 12v 10Ah battery pack i.e. wired in a series circuit Quote Link to post
