I need to get rid of at least 6 foxes

Recommended Posts

What a complete dick.

OK, so you've never experienced losses by foxes - lucky you - but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

I've been around a while, and I can assure you that it does happen - I've seen it with my own eyes.

Why you feel the need to post such utter crap on here, and throw around quite so many insults is beyond me. You are just the type of member that is driving the good posters off this forum; lets face it, you are 25 years old, and have quite obviously only been into field sports for a short period of time.

Come on Andrew, you posted this in October this year   ''I have done a bit of ferreting but I'm really getting in to my running dogs now. I am 24, honest and genuine and live in swadlincote, derbysh

the more you get rid off as you put it, the more you will get, foxs are teratorial, i doubt very much if there decimating the rabbits

more like farmvill on facebook

Invest in a good fox trap

and do what with it when he's caught it, he says only has an air gun

use your brain, relocate it.

Use your brain......dont post shit like this!!!!! Totally irrisponsible. Never mind the legallities. If you relocate them your just passing the problem onto somebody else to deal with. Foxes dont live on thin air. There will be a keeper somewhere nearby who doesnt want his pheasants killed. There will be a farmer somewhere nearby who doesnt want his sheep killed. There will be a kid somewhere who doesnt want to go up the garden one morning to find his pet rabbit scattered all over the place. Use your f*****g brain indeed!! Jesus!

foxes are wild animals they are not f*****g pet dogs they will find a food source and another foxes can NOT take down a sheep you clearly dont know what you are talking about that is a myth that foxes take sheep if you had any understanding of the fox or even seen one you would know that is bollocks they make pick up a DEAD lamb but no way could they take down a sheep you moron and also, as part of esponsible stockmanship you would keep your animals stock proof, to prevent a fox from getting in to any livestock that he would be capable of killing. USE YOUR BRAIN and come back when you know what you are talking about

Have you ever been out the house, you certainly spout some p*sh.

Foxes definately take healthy as well as sickly lambs.

Pernod

I have farmed sheep for over 7 years and delivered thousands of lambs and even tho there is a very healthy fox population on our 600 acres I have never once encontered a live lamb taken by a fox. it is a load of bollocks. foxes will take dead lambs but they will not take live ones and as for a fox taking down a full grown sheep?? go back to sleep you moron. you obviously have never seen the size of a fox compared to a full grown ewe or tup.

a fox attacked kids in there sleep in the own bedroom :hmm: yet it wont take a lamb in its own back yard  sorry mate but ive seen dead ewe`s with their faces eaten off overnight.im not saying your not telling the the truth but perhaps the foxs in your area have a healthy food supply elswhere but what would happen if that food sorce dried up. a fox is opportunist scavanger and will take what it can when it can

foxes are becoming more and more "humane tame" thanks to towny people thinking that the fox is a fluffy cudderly wild animal, and feeding them, hence drawing them closer to human interaction hence the reason for the one off attack on them kids. I understand from reading the papers that the children were screaming, crying at the time, the fox responded, as it would in the wild to a screaming rabbit but i strongly believe that this incident is the fault of the townys by feeding them and bringing them closer to urban areas and making them "tame".

Hmmm, so this wasn't you then?

Hi all,

I am applying for my shotgun certificate for the first time,

and I've come to a sudden stop filling it in on one question.

I am just wondering who you used as a professional person to countersign your application form. it states A countersignatory must also be a Member of Parliament, Justice of the the peace...etc. I don't know anyone like that that.

I was going to use My doctor but he has recently retired, I was also thinking about my local post office, but that has recently changed hands also.

Any ideas who I could use?

Apologies if this is in the wrong part of the forum.

Thanks in advance,

AED

Note the words "I am applying for my shotgun certificate for the first time".

So you are a liar, as well as an idiot.

:hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

What was that other thread 'have you ever proved anyone wrong' ha ha.

Andrew you are infact making a tit of yourself, i think that Events co ordinator, sussed you right a few posts back.

to come on here and big it up and blatantly lie, I'm afraid does come accross as anti tactics.

If you want to prove me wrong, feel free to impart some more of your wealth of knowledge on me.

What is really funny is that Andrew has a link to a website in his signiture. Have you actually looked at that site Andrew? It clearly shows damage (including stock killing) on the first page!

I'm happy to accept that you haven't experienced stock damage by foxes yourself Andrew (in your vast farming experience of seven years), but that doesn't mean that it doesn't happen.

Andrew your attitude on this thread stinks. You seem to think that you know better than some very experienced long time contributors, which is a big mistake.

Perhaps you should use the advice you gave 'nod' and "use your brain" before you wade in feet first.

Oh, and by the way; Merry Christmas :)

Do you think he is as old as that? I dont. AED i honestly do believe your an anti and a prick. Antis trying to infiltrate the hunting fraternaty (as with any fake trying to infiltrate anyone) will and do try to creat as plausable as possible a cover story. It soesnt last long and soon starts to show the crack when they are questioned or challenged as you are finding out. Now f**k off back to LACS with your tail between your legs.

Go on the NWTF website and look at the LIVE LAMB WITH ITS FACE EATEN OFF BY A FOX OR the photo of a fox trying to drag a cat off a fence in a garden full of people at a familly barbecue in Barhead My old man has been controlling foxes with working terriers for over 40 years and I have never heard as much pish as that AED has written TRUE COLOURS coming through.

how do you know, or anyone know, that the lamb was not already dead before having its faced chewed in to? You don't. Because it is a picture. as for a cat, look on youtube, a cat aint no easy meal for a fox, a cat would soon see it off. if anyone is making them sound like an idiot, it is you LOL

The lamb in the photograph with its face chewed off was STILL ALIVE when the photo was taken I think you should change your name to WALTER MITTY

for a busy farmer he seems to spend a fair bit of time on here, just look at the time of his posts, maybe an internet farmer that spends his time filling in subsidy forms while his stock dies in the fields and feeds the local fox population, simples
