i was gifted this bitch of my das mate because im just getting into the hunting, she is doing rabbits day and night no problem and retreiving to hand. what im wondering is has anybdy tried this breed on other guarry. she hasnt seen anything other than rabbits.

if the dog is keen enuff mate the dog will do it ive never done them with mine butt heard a few storys of them doing it

Depends on how old the dog is and the size. If it is whippet size its a rabbit dog that will take the odd other thing. If its greyhound size its capable of anything you want it to do. What percentages beddy, whippet and grey are in it?

from what ive ben told and i hope ive picked it up right its a bedd/whipppet x greyhound, shes around 25.5 tts

should have no problem with it try and get out with someone and run it with there dog the first couple of times and see what happens

also instead of starting a new thread, i need some advice for a mate he bought a saluki in from england and was told it was doing big ears there but the dog wont even look at a rabbit even if it running across its path is that normal? sorry for the silly question

carnt helpp you with that one butt sounds as its not realy pray driven to me i had a dog simler situation some nights she was a realy good dog other night she would run when she wontad??? misd a few rabbits with her choosing to run when the f*****g thing wontad to

Some dogs are fussy. If they enjoy big ears thats what they want. A rabbit isnt enough of a challenge so they cant be arsed but if they see a big ears they will be on it like a bullet. If not then your mates been f****d.
