hawke SR12 scopes

Recommended Posts

hi lads,

i realise that i should put this in the wanted section, but i thought i'd try here first, just in case...

does anybody have a hawke SR12 scope, preferably with around the 4-16 magnification mark that they want to sell, as i'm looking for a more specialised reticle for use on the pro sport and cant afford an MTC!!!

pm me if you can help,

many thanks,

wurz

Hi Wurz.

I used to use one on my HW100 a while back now.

Excellent scope mate for the money, crystal clear.

I have a Hawke Sidewinder 30 IR SF 3-12x50 for sale mate, but that is a SR6 ret if thats any good to you.

Got the SR6 ret on my S10 at the moment, working well

if a SR12 doesnt turn up bill, then i'll take you up on that mate, much appreciated. i must admit, i'd sooner have a smaller objective lens(that pro sports heavy enough as is!!) but beggers aint choosers as they say

Hi John,

Speaking from experience as i had a Hawke sr12 Nite Eye on my .22 Pro Sport you are making a brilliant choice there pal.

Set on x14 for day time and x6 for night shooting its deadly and the dots will be almost smack on 5 metre intervals for you from a 25 metre zero.

I use one also on my r10 and have had some good results with it at different ranges.

Here is what i use on my r10. Its from Blackpool air rifles

Hawke Airmax SR

Airmax SR12 6-18x44 AO with SR reticle . £107.90

nice 1 lads, thanks for that-i'll try both those shops later on today.

@si, yeah mate, i think it'll make a great combo on the pro sport, i've been fairly consistently hitting a 15mm knockdown at 50m on still days with the leapers mil dot that i currently use at x9 but i wanna be shooting pennies every time at that range in wind and the extra info on the SR reticle'llo just make my life a bit easier in that regard, hopefully!!!

@mole, thats some serious distance youre bunny bashing at nowadays mate, fair play to you chap

cheers, wurz

no probs mate, its my local gun shop with a great set up and great set of lads, who are into airgun shooting big time, they also have a shooting range in the back field to try any guns? sometimes they dont put special offers on their website so just make a call.....chris
