a lad i know had one years ago off maurice out of britt i think.it would kill a fox and draw it.done it loads of times.about 14 inch tts,black with a thick wirey coat

A mate of mine has a hard bitch off her. Its a relentles grafter. I currently have a pup off the bitch, It would be intresting to know more about the origins of the dogs. atb John

spoke to her 4 or 5 years ago out with hounds a lot of nuttul in them she was suposed to have bred a good dog called baldrick a few years ago nice to know if anybody seen the dog work

Last time i went out with him his hounds false marked a rock earth,i was invited to enter my dog and when he said "not at home" Maurice thought it was my dog,i offered him a bet which he declined,Maurice entered his own terrier and she also said nothing at home,the keeper bloked the hole and set a trap,still no fox after a week.

 

Hes a nice enough bloke and his daughters a keen hunter,but i would'nt credit them with much more,hunts tend to just get dogs and try them haphasardly and keep what enters easily,theres much more to it than that.
