Here we have the new and improved customised quickfill aluminium cylinders by A & M Custom Gunsmiths for the Weihrauch HW100 series.

 

They have been improved in design being made from one piece billet aluminium allowing for more airspace giving a higher shot count.Also mimicking the original HW cylinder it is fitted with an onboard accurate pressure gauge.

Both myself and wor kid done some testing over the last weekend and in .22cal on a 200bar fill we returned a healthy 110 shots with 120bar left in the cylinder so we're estimating around the 200 shot mark as it starts coming off the reg at 90bar

raising the shot count to an estimated 180-190 if not more.

 

Obviously being made from aluminium the new cylinders are considerably lighter than the stock stainless ones with the weights and dimensions shown in the following video....

The difference to the actual weight and balance of the rifle once it's fitted is amazing. So those that complain about the weight of the HW100 and avoid buying one for that reason can now look at this in a new light.

 

Each cylinder comes with its own fill probe and is backed by the the usual full 100% guaranteed satisfaction & customer service from A & M Custom Gunsmiths.

Estimations and small tests are saying double the shot count of standard cylinder, but this will depend on the rifle power and pellet weight

I'll be testing the shot count for the .177 standard length tomorrow and will be posting the results up as soon as I have them, going off the .22 standard custom cylinder the shot count is approx double that of the standard HW one

Tested the standard size yesterday in .177 and on a full 200bar charge we returned 153 useable shots using AAF 8.4gr before any POI shift so is estimate it at being around the 120-130 mark

will this result in the old mk1 problem where the screw thread was aliminium and the bottle was steel and kept striping the thread and all had to be recalled and steel incert fitted worried this will go the other way. bazz41

No because these are quickfill and dont need to be removed once fitted, unlike the mk1 where the cylinder needed to be removed for filling

Expectation is 130+ shots in .22 mate

I've not got a carbine to test it on but others using the same have had an average of double the shot count of the standard cylinder
