dytkos 18,005
Had planned on getting a fairly decent bag last night but my dog split a pad on Tuesday night so I was left with only the pup to run. I had Silvertip from this site with me and he did the carrying very well LOL. Cheers Sam. On this place there is PLENTY of game and we saw lots of stuff that we couldn't run :cray: We were taking it fairly easy with Brenn as she is not quite a year old yet so trying to pick runs for her and giving her frequent rest stops to get her tongue back in We'd had a few rabs and she was retrieving one when another jumped up in front of her. Now I've seen dogs drop there catch and go after another rab many times but I think this is probably the first time I've seen a lurcher knock a couple of bends out of a rabbit whilst still carrying the one it had just caught She missed the second one obviously but retrieved the first OK afterwards LOL A little later she was on another which span around in the field and the rabbit ran slam bang into a badger that was as suprised as we were! Bet it didn't laugh as much as we did though  Set out to get 10 which we did and picked another one up on the way back to the motor All in all a decent night and the pup ran well but still needs to learn there is more than just the highest gear in which to run Cheers, D.
