The Duncan 802 Posted August 12, 2011 Report Share Posted August 12, 2011 The abstemious ones! Until I was in my 30's I rarely drank, then I quit smoking and drank a fair bit more. As i was always a gym/dojo bunny, when I got a lot of injury type set-backs and couldn't train anymore I think I went slightly off the rails booze wise and had a bottle of red most nights and generally drank more than I should have done, which wasn't a problem because I liked it Healed up enough now to be back in full time training, so drinking has lost a lot of its allure. I do still like to have a few at the weekends though; enough to get silly anyway Shooting clays on a saturday just doesn't seem right without a minor hangover Cheers (hic!) D. Hollie 21 Posted August 12, 2011 Report Share Posted August 12, 2011 I'm the opposite to most, i never used to drink regularly, certainly never drank at home, only on the odd night out, then me and my little girls dad split and i suddenly had every other weekend free to do as i please!! I usually go out on the friday and spend all of saturday laying about feeling like shite, angry that i've wasted a whole day but if i don't go out i sit at home bored and annoyed that i've wasted an evening!! craigyboy 1,274 Posted August 12, 2011 Report Share Posted August 12, 2011 im tea total,have been for 13 yrs,the reason i give up was one night while having a drink in another town,some pissed up clown came over insisting i was someone that had pissed him off somehow a few mth ago,i explained that this was the first time drinking here and he was mistaking me for someone else,after some more mither i decided to tell him to just feck off and i left,while walking home,which was a good few miles i heard something behind me,i turned round to see 3 kunts in a car crawling along the pavement as soon as i turned to look at em the driver put his foot down,knocking me about 10 yrds and putting my leg somewhere in the region of my neck,as i lay there they got out of the car with baseball bats and a krooklock,at which point i just covered my head and took a hiding,i then woke up in hospital,i didnt pack in drinking as such it was the going out that i knocked on the head but seeing as i only drank when i went out that soon followed Quote Link to post Share on other sites
