Yes leeview, not albino (no red eyes) its leucistic (black eyes) still quite rare, Ive been involved with the countryside for over 50 years and its the first Ive seen.. Romany 1,065 Posted September 6, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 6, 2011 (edited) some kind of mutation I would think hon..Ive seen pure white wild bullfinches, a pure white woodpecker, a jackdaw that was almost getting close to white, and when I was ringing I saw a corrected ID down as a snow bunting and it was a white chaffinch, and in captivity through selective breeding weve seen every colour mutation imaginable..
