winchester sx3 i shoot, wouldn't buy cheap!!! your asking for problems

IMO rather than buy a new cheap semi like an escort or benelli buy a second hand berretta ...there is no better semi for reliabilty and quality

such a usefull tool even when out with the terrier

dont waste your money on any off the cheap autos like escort, webly&scott etc (yes an ODD one will work ok with heavy loads),second hand berretta extrema would be my choice,if you cant stretch to that id go for a pump action for reliability, like a remmi wingmaster, bennelli nova or my favourite browning bps

Took my first pink last week (just back at work today) with my new escort, very happy with it.........squeeze the trigger and the shot comes out the other end...I had two shots, one confirmed kill and one disputed kill....the other shooter was my mate, so we had one each - happy days!

I got my hatsan as I didnt want to take my old Berretta out on the mud/sand etc any more.....I'll keep it for shooting pigeons with 2 1/2 " carts.

Iv got a second hand berretta a303 semi. 2 years ago cost me £300 and that was money well spent. I find it a quality gun, has never jammed or not ejected and iv put thousands of cartrdges through it. All varying weights and shot sizes. So for around the £300 mark, cant go wrong with one of these :gunsmilie:

my father-in law had a 303 and part exchanged it for a es100,worst thing he ever did. its a pile of crap, wont cycle 3 inch shell right and even jams up on some clay shell's.in mho buy a winny sx3.cant beat them will cycle anything from 2 3/4 28g upto 63 g 3 1/2 in super magnums......

I have nothing but good things to say about fabarms. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable auto. 4 of my friends have them aswell and haven't had a single problem between us. The new xlr5 is a cracking piece of kit but for a cheap reliable gun if you can get your hands on a h368 you wont buy better. I've never lifted a berretta auto that I liked but each to there own. Had an old 1400 winchester years ago. It was a grand gun but needed regular cleaning or it would jam.

I got a baikal MP-153. Not the pettiest of guns and quite heavy but its never failed me. Not one jam or misfire, very sturdy and pointable. Its handled anything between 1oz 7 1/2 shot up to 2oz BBs. Even fired 2 1/2" clear pigeons through it no probs. Dont need any other gun. Good all rounder really. Got mine for £500 but im sure you could find one for less.
