baw 4,360
A charity single is being released in memory of a teenager who was stabbed to death in Blantyre. Reamonn Gormley was fatally attacked in February as he walked home from watching a Celtic v Aberdeen football match in a bar in his home town. Now the charity where the 19 year-old worked wants to honour his memory, with the backing of Celtic FC. The Good Child Foundation, in Thailand, is where Reamonn taught English during his gap year. Celtic fans have taken the children of the foundation to their hearts and embraced their versions of familiar songs. Celtic Charity Fund has now released a charity version of fans’ anthem ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’ – recorded by the children of the foundation. Proceeds of the release will be collated by the fund and then donated to the Good Child Foundation (90%) and Scotland Crimestoppers' work on knife crime (10%). Celtic Chief Executive Peter Lawwell said: “The passing of Reamonn was a tragic event. We are delighted to be able to be involved in this project in his memory and we are sure it will be a great success in supporting two very worthy causes." Paul Lennon of the Good Child Foundation said: “Everyone here adored Reamonn and we miss him every day. “He was a very special young man and friend and we were blessed to spend time with him here in Thailand. “The children feel very honoured to be involved in the release of this single in Reamonn’s memory and would like to take this opportunity to thank the Celtic fans for their wonderful support and encouragement to date and for getting behind our charity version of ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’.†The song is available to buy on iTunes for 99p. http://news.stv.tv/s...charity-single/

baw 4,360
So sad mate. From what I've seen and heard of him, I'd agree with your mates assessment. Easy to say about the dead but this time it looks true.
