Just back from a cracking weekend in good company went out to a wood in Sussex with some friends to refresh our skills, First night after getting shelters up one of the lads had some crayfish he had trapped (yes he is licensed by the EA) so the pot was boiled and some trout prepared.

Usual score 8 mins each to ensure colour has changed then cool and break open a surprising amount of meat in the claws! But mainly the tail.

Looks good!

Wish my mates were into the same stuff I am.

I would love to just f*** off away for a couple days and live off what i could forage/hunt. Theres a pretty decent sized wood in one of the farms I have a permission, I would try that first haha. Cant wait till' the baby is born and a bit older, hopefully she will be into all that stuff and I will have someone to do that kind of stuff with!

No chance of getting anything sorted soon though due to awaiting MRI results on my foot and unable to walk without alot of pain :(
