Lord MacLeod 1
Hi all i`m new to this site but i`ve been airgun hunting for about a year. I use .177 Thunderbolts and they are very effective now i`ve noticed the Promethius!!!! a very expensive pellet, at around £20 for 500 "are they worth it?" MacLeod Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
No. Stick to a good quality dome head, mate. Try a selection from the established makers such as RWS, H and N, Crossman, Bisley, JSB and the likes and see what groups best from your own gun Cheers and welcome to the forum. secretagentmole 1,701
For our .177 rifles we use Prometheus Defiants, about £12 per 1000 or Air Arms Diablos. Quote Link to post

They worked very well in my old AA410 too, Mike but I think for the price the bloke's quoteing, he's asking about the steel core/Nylon skirt pellets that I've never heard of working well in any airgun. Could be wrong though.... Quote Link to post
