trooperman 73
the nanny state hit ralling aswell but the big problem was not the power output or speed of the cars is was because of the spectators...they were aloud to get close to the roads and tracks that these full bore rockets raced on...not enough marshalls and so health and safety come and pocked their nose in and the result is nothing more than 300 BHP but if you want to see these boys in action go to the Haynes site and you can find DVD's of all the group B monsters. paul

Guest cookiemonsterandmerlin
I stumbled on a R5 mid engine V6 in a barn on one of my permissions I bought it for 300 notes not really knowing its full spec about 15 years ago . I sold it 5 years ago for 24k after a long love affair and I wish I never sold her now. Reagrds Cookie
danw 1,748
Group b being banned was actually because a driver and co driver where killed in the 86 rally de france.I stopped clubman rallying 12 years ago after a spectator throw a rock into my windsreen of the pug205 I was driving causing a massive high speed crash just cause the twat wanted to see a car roll:thumbdown:
