leegreen 2,099 Posted March 31, 2011 Report Share Posted March 31, 2011 GWP have a bounding gait, not so good in a running dog. Short haired pointers have a better gait and would make a better cross. Saying that, as someone said pick a Whippety one and it should be ok. They will all be good hunters but may not excel at anything you expect from them. I think they will look nice, so you shouldn't get stuck with any you don't want. Quote Link to post
