Out today with a few friends who invited us out for a bit of ratting with the terriers. Arrived around 9.30. Started in a small barn where ther was some rubbish stacked which we shifted and shook around resulting in ten rats... we then moved onto a pile of false walls, last time we moved these we killed 45, but they also had 110 from the same spot... We blocked up as much as we could then started shifting, the rats were coming thick and fast, by the end we had killed 135... 145 in total... we then moved on again to behind some pig sheds, where we were bolting the rats with the smoker, the dogs were mopping them up excellently... The we shifted a tree stump and stick pile which were crawling with rats... final tally 314! probably my best tally ever... The terriers worked excellently throughout the morning although started to flag towards the end... Me with the catch, and a photo crasher...
