lost ferret

hi all,on sat 5th feb i went to handle my ferrets around dinner,i must have not closed one hutch properly as at around 7 o'clock tha night i went to feed them to find the door wide open and my ferret gone,they have been seperated because my hobs have been showing signs of coming into season,so only one is gone,he is a polecat hob of medium size and around 14 months old,i live in thurnby lodge leicester,i have put notices on lampposts and knocked neighbours doors and looked in surrounding gardens,i also have left answer phone messages with the rspca,who i will be ringing again as soon as they are open,any info greatly appreciated thanks.

hope he comes back safe and well mate. as already said mate leave some food out in a couple of places and he should return. if like you say he is wanting to get to the jills put them in a hutch on the ground and he may come sniffing around trying to get to them atb mart

he has been found by a neighbour up the road,he's been looked after very well by the looks of things and i fetched him when i got home from work today,my notice on the lamppost put them in touch with me so it was worth it!!thanks for the help and advice everyone,he's getting fed and watered then some rest after his little adventure!
