had collie lurchers for over 20 years.all the ones i had were very reluctant to retreive when other dogs were present but great on their own.i just moved well out of the way of my lamping partener and his dog. over time decreased the distance took time but got there in the end.but as i say they were all reluctant to retreive when other dogs were present. good luck im sure you will get there.

only had my lad a couple of months he is around 16 months. had a couple of dropped ones, a couple that have slipped the net while ferreting and picked up an injured one yesterday. had a few runs tonight on the lamp but dident connect and had a couple of day runs which have been put up but also not connected.

the ones he has had his retrieval is getting alot better each time.
