Met a french guy a few weeks back who has his own shoot, mixed woodland with allsorts to hunt. He has visited the UK a few times and is wanting to get back over specifically for pigeon shooting over decoys or whatever. South UK preferably.

 

So if anyone can help let me know. He would probably be looking to stay at a hotel or good B&B, so dont be too worried about putting him up although im sure he'd have no problem putting you up when you visit him. He'd maybe consider paying a fee instead of an exchange.

Thanks for the replies, hes an old fella, and I think he'd drive over as he's near to the ferry ports, so the drive up north might be too much, think he was shooting round stonehenge last time he was over, he was telling me he just kept driving and driving till he saw pigeons in numbers then went knocking on the farmers doors.

Have to say that this might be very difficult to actually do.

 

Hunting laws are very tight in France and iirc it's difficult and expensive to get a visitors' hunting licence (Permis de Chasse)even on Private Estates.
