stevesel 18
Oh shit. I reckon my dog could have something similar after friday night,he cant put any weight on the leg and the top of his foot has swollen massively and has a hard lump where it shouldnt. I better take my credit card with me to the vet on monday cos it looks expensive.
skycat 6,172
Awesome information there: when people moan about the high prices charged by vets they would do well to realise that the vet has had to learn all of that, then put it into practice: not quite rocket science, but a damn sight more complicated than anything a layman would know or could cope with. Casso 1,256
to be in awe of vets was one of my big mistakes in working with dogs, some are good , some are bad, and the rest are just making up the numbers,,, Edited November 15, 2010 by Casso
skycat 6,172
Very true: you should always question the vet as much as possible, but when you find a good and honest vet you hang on to them for dear life, or should I say, your dog's life. I've been with my vet for over 20 years and they are as straight as could be, don't overcharge for trifles and have saved my dogs' lives on more than one occasion.
