need a little advice

hi i have just got back into the sport and have got myself a 14 week old jill about a month ago for £10 which i thought was a little steap but it was the cheapest i could find in my area (Emsworth, Hants)i am now looking for a ferret with experience in working to show her thw ropes at the end on the season and so i can work it at the start. i have found one in my area 2 years old and been working for just over a year however the onwer would like £25 for him (Albino)or an offer. is he pushing his luck for £25 if so what would be a good offer.

I'd say look around £25 is steep even for a "proven worker" google Ferret Welfare Societies....you can do better than that,mate

You don't think a working ferret is worth 25 quid? How much would a working ferret be worth to you if someone asked to buy it? Think about all of the far less worthy things you've pissed 25 quid away on.

Weve just bought in four ferret kits a ten spot each but they first two where two hours away by car and the second two further away if you want it pay for it

It's also interesting to say 'cheapest i could find' as if price is the deciding factor, i wouldn't pick a kit from a litter i was less than 100% happy with, just cos it was five quid cheaper. I picked up a few kits this year for the first time in ages - the guy said i could have them for free (a member off here) but as they were such excellent kits and obviously a lot had gone into rearing and handling them i gave him some cash for them, just a fiver each, but it's just a token.

ive never had to buy a ferret up my way we just give them away or if sells them its about a fiver

even if ye dont sell the bunnys, just feeding them to the ferrets will save ye money in feed..........
