could anyone please tell me how fenn traps work in the hole? does it catch the rabbit by the head or legs? thanks?

Emm don't have a clue because my dad got them years ago.

Make sure that you only buy the genuine traps made by A. FENN that Fourteenacre sells - there are cheaper and inferior copies available but apart from being illegal in the UK for use they only last about 5 minutes. For rabbits in rabbit holes only the Mk 6 traps are allowed by law.

Ferrit when I set my fenns I always wear leather gloves because when you get it wrong (an you will) when they snap shut it bloody hurts , also if you want to spring one shut use the sole of your boot on the plate , good luck mate

Or carry a length of hose pipe,as you can set the trap off with out bending the jaws out of alinement.
