WOLVERINE817 1
Hi all, just wondering if there was anything i can do to help my bitch in the first few days of her giving birth like suplements or additions to her food. Also in the past I have only ever brougth my lurchers after they have been proven by others but this time i get to choose the pic of the litter, so any advice on making the right choice would be a great help. Here are the sire and dam. Sire is Collie/Greyhound 2ndx and the dam is Whippet x Collie/Greyhound. bare in mind I would be looking for a good alrounder. Quote Link to post

watchman 256
never bred a litter myself mate so as for looking after the dam and giving supplements i wouldn't know, but when choosing a pup, well easy in my eyes,do you want/prefer dog or bitch, now at least you have a start point, general health and well being,ie teeth feet etc as said, there will usually be one that really catches your eye, weather it be boisterous/playful or just that little something that you know when you see it,i dont pick one that may constantly shy away and generally be disinterested in anything going on,but not necessarily the trouble maker of the litter lol,and yes colour does play a part in what your looking for although obviously only materialistic and no value to how the dog will perform later on in life,go with your instinct mate and enjoy, atb with it Quote Link to post
