matt_hooks 188
So anyway, sleep, wassat then? I had big plans for last night/this morning, and I'm SURE they involved "going to bed" at some point. Somehow I managed to miss that minor detail out, oh well! YouTube is a wicked, evil, dangerous thing! Just got back from a refreshing trot around my permission here. Didn't shoot anything, mainly because I missed a couple, and decided that the rifle's obviously off zero, so I'd better not try and shoot anything as I'd hate to wound an animal! Strange, as it's the same rifle/scope I made the 40 plus yarder with earlier on. Oh well, guess I'll wait til the neighbours are up and out at school/work and see what's going on with it. Still, it's nice to be up with the larks, on the hoof as the sun rises, even if you've not actually been to bed! Early night for me tonight I reckon. Gonna have a crack at squirrel nutkin and his pals at work. The bosses son in law has a hankering after eating one, so I said I'd oblige. They cause all sorts of damage to the trees and fences anyway, so they're shoot on sight there, as they don't play with live traps, far too wily, and the boss isn't too keen on kill traps, fens, deadfalls and the like, so the rifle is the only option (and much more humane imho) Anyway, I'm rambling, off to find some tea, caffeine is going to feature large in the list of necessities today I feel!
