Guest Nov
Who would be interested in a fishing match between the members here? Now the hunting season is over, it would give us something to do and it would be a good excuse for a meet and a drink. The location would have to be central to the subscribers of said fishing match, what you all think? Quote Link to post
socks 32,253
what we talking about ... fly, course, sea ............... Quote Link to post
Guest Nov
Defo not sea, be hard to get a central location for sea fishing, plus ive only done it twice. I'd do either fly or course depending on the majorities wishes and ive never done fly fishing, but I would give it a go. P.S Socks The North End took a big step towards cardiff today http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...v_1/4537115.stm so if we do get there, fancy a beer? and maybe a house mate for the weekend, lol Quote Link to post

Smudge 0
How about make it a 2 day job. Fish a ressie or stillwater on one day and a River the next. I don't really fish stillwaters that much and i suppose a few people won't. Just an idea Smudge Quote Link to post
Guest Duzabit
If anyone fancies a coarse match, i'd be glad to take a few quid of anyone. Duz Quote Link to post
Guest pete evans
eyebrook is a fairly central resevoir and is a cracker. also rutland is quite cntral. Id be interested in joining in. Boat or bank? if its boat it would have to be a decent size venue to get enough boats. Quote Link to post
Smudge 0
Rutland is quite a size like. If theres enough for international events there'll be enough for us motley lot :11: Quote Link to post
Guest Nov
If peeps are serious about this, we need to get the discipline's sorted out, if it's going to be fly, I will need to buy some kit, if it's course, I'm already sorted. Quote Link to post
