Huntinglife fishing match

Who would be interested in a fishing match between the members here? Now the hunting season is over, it would give us something to do and it would be a good excuse for a meet and a drink. The location would have to be central to the subscribers of said fishing match, what you all think?

Defo not sea, be hard to get a central location for sea fishing, plus ive only done it twice. I'd do either fly or course depending on the majorities wishes and ive never done fly fishing, but I would give it a go.

P.S Socks The North End took a big step towards cardiff today http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...v_1/4537115.stm

so if we do get there, fancy a beer? and maybe a house mate for the weekend, lol :yahoo:

Nov,you'll have to come over and have a day fluff flingin with us :good:,you should do alright, every f****r who comes with us always catches a big double :search: ,i'll explain, was over craggy springs thursday, got over there for 3.p.m and got the 6 hour ticket to whack the evening rise, not into fishemans tails :D but i lost a big f****r within minutes of starting couldn't get the feckers head up and my epoxy buzzer was snapped on the shank gutted  ,it could of been the 26lb that went in that morning : :search: but still had a cracker session putting plenty on the bank and took 2 fish for 9lb,well my jammy fooker mate, who was cristening his 60th birthday presents, hardy angel rod and reel says i'll have one last cast through where all those fish are rising ,a savage take and 15 minutes later he had a lovely condition tail perfect 23 and a half pound rainbow on the bank :icon_eek: ,he took it straight the taxidermists, his 3rd big double of the season with me,am still waiting for my first :D ........

eyebrook is a fairly central resevoir and is a cracker. also rutland is quite cntral. Id be interested in joining in. Boat or bank? if its boat it would have to be a decent size venue to get enough boats.
