nickarris83 17 Posted May 26, 2010 Report Share Posted May 26, 2010 popped into my local gunshop looking for a cheapy shotgun and a came accross this single barrelled baikal 12 guage lovely condition £25.00 I SOON PURCHASED THIS , i no these guns are not the bees knees but for the money i paid for this i was over the moon, it will only be used to sit in the tractor beside me for bigger vermin or game which my air rifle cant take out , and it will get bashed about , anyway super value for money best wishes nick Quote Link to post

I'm only down the road from you in Canterbury and I don't think a lot of most of the gun shops in kent. Where is Ashford Guns and Tackle, is that the one at kent wool growers? or somewhere different? I grew up in Tonbridge Wells and always used to use Chris Potter but the last couple of years everytime I have been in there they have been really snotty and looked down there nose, even the last time when I went in to buy a brand new browning 525 heritage. I went to wilson and wilson for a look and have been using them every since, I have now bought 2 shotguns and two rifles through them. But I warn you its a bit of a trek it on this funny little industrial site near Manston airport in the middle of nowhere! I have just read this and it looks like an advert, its really not, they have just really looked after me everytime I have been in there, when I bought my first .22 from them peter set it all up and bore sited and spent ages helping me. Which was pole apart from when I went into Chris Potters, I asked for some help as I wanted to buy a .22 which I just got my license for, the guy just pointed to the far end of the gun room and grunted there were up there! I felt a bit like unless your going in to spend £10,000 there not interested, I got the same treatment when I went to buy my 525. Sorry to ramble! ATB Jonno Quote Link to post

ATB Jonno Thats ok the boys in there are very snobby matey i know exactly what you mean , higher class folks iff you no what i mean , i no where manston airport is i will have a trek there saturday thanks for that , Ashford guns and tackle i dont no iff its the wool makers , but they have a royal mail opposite on the corner and you take the turning off the road whichgoes past the town , best bet is to google it matey best wishes nick Quote Link to post
