Ive tried others but after a couple months they seem to lack in coat and vigour so i go back to iams. i am going to try beta completefor 'active' dog cause iv heard good reports and looked at the make up and it seems good, but want to now what other lads are doing Quote Link to post
Guest Jane Russell
You might want to have a look at feeding raw. Biscuit is convenient but not natural. There's loads on here who feed raw and they're prtty helpful. Quote Link to post
cymruguy69 5
IMHO Beta Active is to high in protein it contains 30% Protein thats far to much!! Iv'e heared opinions of many people on here and they say that 20% is enough!! I feed my pup Raw Minced Tripe and Raw chicken mince with a drop of cod liver oil and 1 cut of OX heart a week!! She's lookin really well with plenty of energy and her coat is real shiny!! Better Still She Loves the stuff cause it's natural!! This is her Happy Hunting Quote Link to post
Guest Jane Russell
She's a sweet looking pup and the dead spit of a bitch I used to know way back when. Quote Link to post

cymruguy69 5
I changed my dog over Beta Active after i read all the information on the bags of dog food in the shop. Beta Active had a high percentage of protein thats why i choose it and my dog looks great on it. I could be wrong but mine is out alot so i wanted to make sure he was getting enough of what he needed. Joe The only reason I decided to stay away from it is because I was shocked at the fact it had "30%" Iv'e been told thats one hell of a lot of protein!!! My pup loves the RAW so I'l keep her on it!! Simoman 110
Fed raw, its natural, the dogs look good and they enjoy eating it. I feed chicken wings, minced tripe/chicken/beef/veg, pigs trotters, lamb rib racks and chicken carcases. Try it and you'll never go back to dried foods. Quote Link to post
