I keep frontline for kittens for this reason. Where I am, picking up ticks is a common problem. Prevention is better than cure but saying that you can dab the tick with a bit of front line on your finger and more often than not it makes removing them easier.

Tick remover mate. Grip it as close to the ferrets skin as you can and gently twist it anti clockwise till it pops out. Then dab a bit of tcp on the wound in case of germs and infection.

new to the forum, ive had a problem with tics, frontline is the best spray for the job and the tic remover shown in the pic is the deffinelty the better option(ive tried a few), theres a company selling them on ebay

only ever hade one tick on one of my hobs about 2 years ago. this is what i done to remove it :thumbs:

Piture of ferret that came into the rescue with ticks there was weel over 100 as i removed just short of that then 3 sprays of front line on latex gloves rubbed over the body killed the rest.

lo alot of ticks allrite
