Guest Croc Posted October 23, 2006 Report Share Posted October 23, 2006 My 15 week old Springer pup fell/jumped while playing on Saturday afternoon & broke her front left elbow I took her straight to the vets and she stayed there doped up until they could operate this afternoon, the vet called and said everything went as well as can be expected and as long as there are no complications such as infection or her knocking it she should make a good recovery with the only side effect being the possibility of early onset of arthritis (sp) My question is have any of you lads had experience of treating this sort of injury or arthritis and is there anything I can do help at this stage or in the future? I bred the bitch myself from my good working dam and a quality dog that trials regularly. I have/had high hopes for this bitch and just hope she makes the grade now!
