just start bringing him out the countryside in the daytime and get it used to you and gates, wires, cows, ditches etc and coming back to you when you call it,bits of cheese might persuade it.buy a lamp and you and the dog go out(or with someone else who lamps)on a windy night and shine around for a pair of eyes and walk right up to it,just let the dog see the rabbit when he runs keep the dog on the lead, hel soon get interested.they naturally want to chase small moving things it will soon click.youl need a slip lead when you think hes ready to run,(lead ran through between collar and neck and hold the two loose ends)just pull one end of the lead and then the fun starts
