Just got back from the Kent Game & Equine Festival with a new rifle cover, bore snake cleaner and a bottle of caramel vodka & cider.

A really nice show with all trade stands under cover, not that the weather was too bad.

Loads of clothing, shooting stuff, food, drink, pet stuff, fishing, etc.

Dogs are very welcome everywhere at the show.

Well recommeded and will go back next year.

Also running tommorow (27/03/10)

:icon_eek: Went today.... the championship class for terriers was the poorest class i have seen :icon_eek:

Is that because you didnt have a dog in the final or because they were all workers? Which you would know nothing about

:lol::lol: MUG. didn't have any dogs.

"all workers" ? really ?

Where we at the same show?? :wankerzo4:

I know peoples opinions differ as to the rights of what dogs should go into the ring, I personally decided to put my pup in the adult Lakeland class (she couldnt go into the pup class as she is docked) and the working class both I knew she would not place well in because she is a pup and has done next to nothing, but it put a quid in the pocket of the organisers and I was happy with that.

Fair comment.....

In the pup class there was a cracking 10 month black and tan dog, looked like it will be a capable animal when it matures.... never got a look-in.

In the Patterdale/fell class there was a chocolate old type Gould/Nuttle dog also slung out in favour of weaker looking dogs....

Don't mean to offend anyone

JMHO
