Moving house - Kennels

Alright guys,

 

Quick question, I'm moving house next month and I'm unsure what to do about a kennel for the dog??? Ive got a builder mate and he has suggested I build a kennel from a load of bricks he has left from a job and just line it with timber etc or do I go and buy a timber kennel and run??

 

Any thoughts

if your mate will built them for you great job. some of them tiber ones can make a whole in your pockett

I was just concerned about warmth in the winter?? It'll be better to keep clean etc I guess

tell him to build a box in the kennel they can be easily insulated

if possible bricks and mortar, far better job mate, just have a timber kennel as mentioned with adequate insulation, if your going for it properly don't forget the drains.

Mate take my advice please build brick or block kennels, wooden ones rot in time and smell! in the past iv built wooden ones and regret them big time! like above you can insulate brick ones and they are there for a very long time.

i would rather have brick kennels any day.all you have to do mate is line it out with ply boards to keep the dog dry and warm for them cold winter nights.and they will last for yrs atb
