THANKS Can't see that they'd be bad for the gun.....they don't burst ballons at 20 yards though so are of very limited use. J. Quote Link to post
John-B 4
used .22 CCI Shotshells many years ago in the barns for rats, unless at point blank range they were useless haha Quote Link to post
HUnter_zero 58
Hi all, ive seen these 22 rat shells, just wondering if anyone has used them, and whats he lethal range of them? also are they bad for the rifling of the barrel? THANKS Waste of money and time in a .22 rifle. Not far off a waste of money and time in a .22 shotgun. Effective range is a little more than 10 yards on mice the pattern is very bad if shot in a rifle barrel. Far better off with 2" .410. John Quote Link to post
Night Hunter 109
I tried them a while back and found them totally useless, rats never even broke thier stride Quote Link to post
theinvisiblescarecrow 0
They use dust shot, too small for rats. First used Eley in the 60's & a few years ago I bought an old Webley .22 shotty for nostalgia. Got some CCi shells. Nostalgia was best left where in was, distant memories. The old Webley was sold on with the remaining near full box of shells. Quote Link to post
