What is to thin

Recommended Posts

There is a massive difference between a thin lurcher, one that is underweight and lacking in condition, and one which is lean AND fit: trimmed down, albeit with plenty of muscle (the type of muscle depends on the breeds within the dog: big bulging muscles in greyhoundy dogs and those with bull in, and leaner, more streamlined muscles in Saluki types).

Photos can be very misleading especially to the novice eye and dogs usually look fatter/heavier in photos than in real life. I can't see the photo of the very thin dog: has he taken it off ? So can't comment on that.
